Dana attended college at the University of Canine Studies in Chicago, IL, where she majored in Dog Viewing and minored in Canine Sleep Analysis. During her time there, Dana developed an interest and expertise in canines, focusing her studies on the many different breeds of dogs she encountered. At University of Canine Studies, Dana took a variety of courses related to dogs including dog psychology and behavior, canine nutrition, kennel management, breed recognition and identification, and dog breeding.
