The Tribe Hb-238NA is believed to be the inspiration for the character "Tribe" in the novel "The Clan of the Cave Bear" by Jean Auel. In the novel, the Tribe is a small group of Neanderthals who live in caves in the mountains. The novel follows the life of the main character, Ayla, as she grows up with the Tribe.
In 2022, [[Skeleton Realm]] were appointed as the Scholarly Guardian Organization for Tribe Hb-238NA and were tasked with raising awareness through edutainment, pop-science, and explainer videos.
