Many Davies enter the Skeleton Realm discord abruptly, often times chanting and repeating some of Dave's instructions from the original video or aspects of his fictional game, used to lure users into hacking hell. It is unclear often times whether Davies support or condemn Dave's behavior. This makes them confusing and hard to understand. Davies have a hardcore desire to perform "Dave Laps" inside the Skeleton Realm Discord and then promptly disappear forever. A so called "Dave Lap" occurs when a brand new Davie first enters the discord, then either quotes the original Desktop Dave video or makes a reference to something found within it, then remains silent forever after. Davie's lighthearted and often jovial treatment of the severity of Desktop Dave's behavior and documented crimes is seen as insensitive and offensive to many.
