Torn Up Stark White Whitaker
Torn Up Stark White Whitaker (born June 3, 1982) or simply "Torn Up" for short, is a resident of Atlanta who garnered a reputation in 2014 for looking extremely pale white due to being scared after seeing a ghost.
In 2014, Whitaker was interviewed by Atlanta news station WGCL-TV regarding a local ghost story. During the interview, Whitaker expressed his fear of ghosts and kept glancing around nervously. He was described as looking pale white and visibly scared during the interview. The interview was uploaded to YouTube, where it gathered a large audience. Whitaker was dubbed the "Pale White Man" or "Torn Up Stark White" by viewers. The video quickly spread across the internet and Whitaker was featured on several websites including The Huffington Post, USA Today, and The Daily Mail. A number of people on Twitter also made jokes about his appearance, with some users comparing him to Casper the Friendly Ghost and others making jokes that he was a ghost himself.
